Premium Building Inspection Report

Our Premium building inspection report offers all criteria included within the Standard Report and the following additional services:

• A survey for asbestos
• Approximate cost of repairs- This is a guide only and you are advised to obtain quotes from builders or trade contractors to confirm pricing.
• Comments on energy efficiency
• A survey of methods to reduce movement
• Suitability of the current house for an extension
• A survey of wet area walls using a moisture meter in the case of a shower or pipe in the wall leaking. This is an indication only and the presence of moisture can only be confirmed by a plumber pressure testing the pipes in the house.
• A survey of methods to to try and reduce movement in the house

Inspections do not include:

• Surveys for white ants and pests. We would advise any client to use a licensed pest controller prior to purchase of a house.
• Electrical testing of fixtures and fittings inside and around the house.
• Pool or spa pumps and filters or pool electronic components.
• Mechanical services (for example: air conditioning).

Visual assessment and operation of electrical appliances can be carried out at an additional cost.
